Belgian Brussels Waffles Recipe


● 2 cups all-purpose flour
● 2 tsp baking powder
● 1 tsp salt
● 4 large eggs, separated
● 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
● 1 3/4 cup milk
● 2 tsp vanilla extract
● Powdered sugar for dusting


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and mix in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
  6. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Grease the waffle iron with butter or cooking spray.
  8. Pour the batter into the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove the waffles from the iron and place them on a wire rack to cool slightly.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit,
    whipped cream, or maple syrup.
